Topeka Transgender Alliance (TTA) - TTA is a support group for the transgender (crossdressers, dual gendered, Intersexed, and transsexuals) community in the Topeka, KS area. They invite guest speakers to present topics of intrest to the Transgender community.
The only qualifications to belong to the group is a small interview process. |

Kansas Equality Coalition of Topeka, Inc. works to secure fair treatment for all citizens, especially with regard to sexual orientation and gender identity. We recognize the interconnectedness of all forms of oppression and we seek alliances with other organization to combat racism, sexism, homophobia, and all other forms of oppression. |

Kansas Statewide Transgender Education Project (K-STEP) provides a panel of transgender educators to groups who request their services. K-STEP has presented to departments of corrections, mental health care providers, social organizations, and many more diverse groups. Their goal is to put a human face on a population that is sometimes feared and is generally misunderstood. |

| Counseling Services |
|
Headquarters Counseling Center provides services directly to individuals, with Headquarters receiving approximately 20,000 counseling contacts a year over the telephone and in person. Among the services provided are:
- Counseling and support for all personal concerns, such as family problems, stress, loneliness, relationship difficulties, depression, abuse, sexuality issues, alcohol or other drug problems
- Suicide intervention for anyone who is having suicidal feelings; guidance and support to those who are concerned about a family member or friend who is feeling suicidal (Certified by the American Association of Suicidology)
- First Call for Help for people seeking any kind of help or community resources including financial matters, housing, food, legal problems, and health concerns
